how systems saved me

Hi friend! Welcome to the new ashleystork.com! I am so excited about having this little spot on the internet to share all things organizing, routines & systems, helping you work towards the goals you have for yourself & your family, and so much more. I want to thank Nickole with NH Creative Studio for designing the brand I had in my head.

I wanted to share a little bit about how this project came about and where I hope to take it.

I am a former wedding planner so routines & systems come pretty naturally to me. I like a plan & to execute one. My husband and I went through years of infertility before having our daughter. We had been married for 12 years before we became parents. That is a LONG time to be settled in your rhythms as a couple before adding another little person to the mix. When we became parents and I went back to work, the systems & typical routines I set up for us were not working.

In general in our family, I am the CEO & Secretary. I am the conceptualizer and the executer. Not that my spouse doesn’t have his areas where he takes the lead, but he has a work schedule that is very demanding and he just is not as home as much as I am so by default alot falls to me. I am also the natural planner out of us.

PPA & PPD hit me hard and managing a wedding planning business after Covid was incredibly difficult. I knew I had to change the systems in our home for our family to thrive. Revamping our meal planning, bill paying, home care, and self care routines were a HUGE help to me in coming out of the newborn fog. As our daughter grows, the needs we have change. I am learning as I grow into parenthood and I hope you will follow along, find a tip that helps you and your family.
